This interactive workshop will assist music therapists to work more competently with issues of diversity, marginalization and oppression.  Participants will leave the workshop with tools to further their journey toward culturally competent practice. 

This workshop will count toward Safe and Effective Use of Self section (7-10 hours) and Education section (10 hours) in the CRPO application.  Readings will be provided to registrants ahead of time, and an optional assignment will be available for completion after the workshop.

Venue: St. Joseph's Health Centre, 100 Westmount Rd., Guelph

Parking: $6/day at St. Joseph's and other options available that are free or cheaper within walking distance.

Workshop Fee*: 

$100 (MTA, General)

 $85 (Music Therapy Students)

*In the event that you may  want to cancel your registration, you will only be refunded $75.
