Who Should Attend? This workshop is designed for Physicians, Nurses, Social Workers, Counsellors, Educators, Psychologists, Hospice Personnel, Clergy, Chaplains, Lay Ministers, Paramedics, Police officers, Fire fighters and others caring for bereaved people.

Designed for professionals and volunteers, this full day workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to explore a variety of topics related to understanding supporting survivors of sudden and unexpected deaths. Specific content areas include: special features of suicide grief; trauma loss; the concept of “carried grief”; and introduction to “complicated” mourning.
