Jennifer Kong and Jill Hedican will be hosting this Regulation Information Session for all MTAO members who are able to attend.
This is an opportunity for members to learn about recent updates regarding the Regulation process and how it could affect the music therapy profession. You will also have an opportunity to express concerns and provide feedback which will be forwarded to the MTAO Board and Regulation Committee.
The MTAO Board spends a lot of resources provided by its members (membership fees and voluntary work) in keeping up to date on regulation matters and contributing to lobbying efforts. In turn, we need to service our members through events such as this Regulation Info Session. As a result, we are asking for proof of MTAO membership in order to attend this session. Music Therapists who are not MTAO members are encouraged to become members in order to strengthen our voice during this process.
As members of the public, everyone is able to access information provided by the Transitional Council, attend TC meetings, and learn about the regulation process through the links provided on this website.
